Seto ware is one of the Japan's Six Ancient Kilns.

This potter uses "tebineri" and "himo-zukuri" technique not using a pottery wheel, which makes pottery look more organic.
The box is made of paulownia and it has "Sanada-himo", a tough fabric to fasten even armor during the Sengoku period.
In the world of tea ceremony, each fabric and knot show specific schools or potters like a passcode.
